YaAdblock source & licenses

Corresponding source and license notices for the built-in YaAdblock WebExtension distributed with Ya Browser.

What is included

• YaAdblock TypeScript integration source, extension manifest, and build script.
• Exact npm lockfile with package URLs and integrity hashes.
• EasyList, ABPindo, and Ya Browser product-filter release snapshots and their notices.
• Ya-authored clean-room scriptlets, executable resource tests, and deterministic engine audit.
• Quick Fix/Unbreak pack validation, exact-scope fixtures, a 15-case calibration corpus, a 44-case compatibility matrix, and the fail-closed Behavior Guard v2 promotion decision.
• The Mozilla Public License 2.0 text used by Ghostery adblocker.

The reviewed filter snapshots are compiled into the application. YaAdblock does not download filter lists or load a cached remote engine at runtime; snapshot changes arrive only through a signed Ya Browser update.

License boundary

@ghostery/adblocker-webextension and covered derivative files are distributed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. MPL is file-level copyleft: it permits use in a larger application while preserving recipients' rights to the covered source.

EasyList and ABPindo snapshots are distributed under their stated CC BY-SA 3.0 terms and attribution notices. Other Ya Browser components keep their own licenses as listed inside the app's Open-source notices screen.

Rebuild

Extract the archive, install a current Node.js LTS release, then run npm ci, npm test, npm run build, and npm run audit:resources. The archive README records the output layout and release mapping.
